Earn and build your employees' trust all day, every day;

Ask employees about conflict...they'll tell you where it is;

Tackle conflict constructively...don't ignore it;

Deal with it progressively...informally, first, then formally;

Check your facts twice;

Don't rush into a solution before understanding the problem;

Test your proposed solution, using your intuition and common-sense;

Monitor the results regularly;

Seek professional help if there seems to be no solution;

Remember No. 1!
